Scenarios

SMALL OFFICE

Scenario:

A small travel agency with four employees requires four telephones and one line for each agent. An auto attendant (telephone menu system) will be required to direct the calls to the correct representative. Each representative requires a telephone and an extension in which to route the calls to.

Solution:

A small business PBX can satisfy this scenario utilizing only one telephone number with up to 23 (twenty three) concurrent connections. All representatives will have their own extension (201, 202, 203…) and personal voice mailbox. These voice mails will not only be emailed to the representatives they can also check their voice mail either through the phone directory, or through an easy to use web interface. Thus minimizing telephone and long distance costs, and implementing a professional first class business image.

Requirements:

O3Pro – PBX
Router
(4X) IP Phones or (2X)ATA or (4X) Soft-Phones

Method 1 - Lowest Cost, little equipment
Call from a free, easy to install telephone on your computer.
Method 2 – Convenient, Low cost
Keep your existing telephones and simply plug them into an ATA (analog terminal adapter).
Method 3 – Best performance & Reliability
Buy professional grade IP telephones and connect them to your router.

WAREHOUSE
Scenario:

A large warehouse requires a full communications system in which anyone within the warehouse can call their suppliers (long distance) at a low monthly rate. Proprietary PBX systems are costly and the owner can not afford the hardware to implement enough telephone nodes due to the large area of coverage.

Solution:

A small/medium business PBX is digital and can fully support wireless transmissions. Wireless IP telephony is the perfect solution based on low cost networking hardware and ease of setup. Each VOIP account supports up to 23 concurrent connections per number and is easily half the cost of a standard PSTN account.

Requirements:

O3Pro – PBX
Router
24 Port Switch
Wireless Access Points (Amount required depending on size of warehouse)
Wireless IP Telephones
OR
Standard hard wired IP phones (not wireless, simply run networking cable to each phone from the switch).

MEDIUM SIZE CALL CENTER

Scenario:

A medium sized call center with 50 employees requires up to 50 concurrent connections and several 1-800 numbers with advanced call routing. Agents must have the ability to transfer departments and queues must be implemented in a round robin topology. A proprietary PBX would be extremely costly due to the Dial in Destination routing and cost per hardware device including an intelligent queue system.

Solution:

O3Pro – PBX fully supports ring groups, queues, advanced call routing based on dial in destination and many queue topologies. 1-800 numbers can route to specified departments and all calls can be monitored and recorded. An IVR will be implemented to direct callers to their desired agent and direct dialing to extensions is supported.

Requirements:

O3Pro – PBX
Router
(3X) 24 Port Switch (or 2X 48 port switch)
Either IP Phones or Soft-Phones ran from each computer system (more cost effective).
