CommuniGate Pro offers integrated groupware functionality for enterprise environments, including support for email, shared folders, calendaring and group scheduling. Microsoft Outlook users can take advantage of the same advanced collaboration tools that they experience with Microsoft Exchange™. They receive email, schedule appointments, share free/busy information, and reply to meeting requests in the familiar Outlook interface. In addition, with CommuniGate Pro users can access all forms of IP Communications via one Inbox. The multi-language WebUser Interface for webmail enables mobile users to access email, calendars, contacts, group scheduling and electronic discussions via any browser. Standards-based calendaring support of iCAL/iMIP/iTIP, WebDAV and vCal allows integration with existing shared calendar and publishing systems. CommuniGate Pro also includes Pronto! a secure and portable lightweight Flash client for IP Communications anywhere.
Real-time communications are offered via the built-in SIP server for register, proxy and presence services for SIP-enabled devices. The software supports Instant Messaging (IM) via Microsoft Windows Messenger and any other SIP-based IM client, VoIP, video-conferencing and desktop applications such as whiteboarding.
With CommuniGate Pro’s SIP “Make Call” feature, voice calls can be made directly from Outlook. 5x Initiating a call is as easy as selecting a contact’s name in your address book, and then Outlook initiates the call from your VoIP application or IP phone.
